Getting paid as a creator
You keep your full asking price. ShowPlate’s 20% is added on top and paid by the restaurant, so bid the number you want to be paid.
Payouts run through Stripe. Connect a payout account from Earnings before you bid, since we can’t pay you without one. You sign up as an individual, not a business, so there is no EIN or company registration involved.
After you submit content, the restaurant has 48 hours to review it. If they don’t respond it approves automatically. Your payout releases as soon as the content is approved, so at most about 48 hours after you submit.
Paying for content as a restaurant
You are charged when you send an offer, not when you post a brief. The amount is the creator’s bid plus the 20% platform fee. That money is held until you approve the content, and a campaign can book more than one creator, each settled separately.
Something went wrong with a job
Open a dispute from Disputes in the app or at www.showplate.co/dashboard/disputes within the 48 hour review window. Disputes pause the payout until they are resolved.
Account and data
You can delete your account and everything attached to it from Profile. Full instructions are on the Delete Your Data page. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service explain what we collect and the rules of the marketplace.
Still stuck
